Programs
We are connecting a range of programs that help people find clarity in funded and volunteering possibilities within the regenerative movement. We consult on what’s possible given your background, timeline, and interest, then connect you to the right program or partner farm within our network. From a single funded research placement to a full season immersed in the work, each pathway is mapped out clearly from the start.

For example:
European Solidarity Corps (ESC)
At a glance: Full practical immersion for 2 to 12 months – costs covered.
The Program: The European Solidarity Corps gives young people the opportunity to volunteer abroad and become part of projects working on environmental, agricultural and community-based initiatives. Depending on the project, this can include regenerative farming, agroforestry, soil restoration, biodiversity, organic cultivation and sustainable living. Erasmus + Traineeships & Field Research
At a glance: Combining academic research with hands on experience at a regenerative farm abroad.
The Program: For students interested in regenerative agriculture, a farm can become a practical learning environment where they explore topics such as agroforestry, soil health, biodiversity, food systems or sustainable land management.
A traineeship may also provide the practical setting for research connected to a Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis, when approved by the student’s university and compatible with the study programme.
Who it is for: Students enrolled at a European higher-education institution. Opportunities are not limited to agricultural degrees and can be relevant to fields such as environmental sciences, biology, sustainability, sociology, geography, education, economics and more.
Funding: Students can receive an Erasmus+ mobility grant. The exact amount depends on the destination, sending institution and individual circumstances. Additional financial support may be available for traineeships and participants with fewer opportunities.
Personal Introductions
At a glance: Connecting specific interest and practicing farms.
Not every meaningful farm experience needs to follow a formal funding programme.
Through our network of regenerative farmers and practitioners, Cultivating Connections connects people with farms and projects that match their interests, skills and intentions, whether you want to learn agroforestry, experience syntropic farming, contribute to a food forest or simply discover a different way of living with the land.
We help create the connection. The exact conditions of each placement are agreed directly with the farm.
Funding depends on the farm and placement, some offer room and food in exchange for work; others are self-funded.
