Cultivating Connections is a non-profit initiative connecting the people, farms, and communities of the regenerative movement across Europe.

For most of human history, living well and living together were the same thing. Communities did not survive in spite of the land, they survived because of their relationship with it. Knowledge was passed on, resources were shared, and the wellbeing of the group was inseparable from the health of the soil, the water and the forest. Community made ecological cooperation possible and ecological cooperation made community necessary.

Open-access farms, eco-villages, land cooperatives and regenerative communities still exist today, in many forms and in many places. We want to make it easier to get in touch with them and more accessible for anyone to become part of the regenerative movement, whatever that looks like for them.

Rather than duplicate what already exists, our role is to connect it: bringing these networks into one clear, accessible resource.

In practice, that means harmonizing the data to make the information accessible, giving it faces and voices through documentary film, and collecting the knowledge behind it, so there is more time to apply it in ways that fit each context.
