Cultivating Connections is a non-profit dedicated to connecting Europe's regenerative movement – for those already part of it and for those just discovering it.
Through a shared map, documentary films, open learning and gatherings, it shows that regeneration belongs not only on the farm, but also at the table, in culture and in everyday life.
Cultivating Connections is built around four pillars:
-
Across Europe, regenerative farms and communities are already mapped, listed and shared, but scattered across multiple different networks, directories, and platforms. Connecting means bringing these existing maps and networks into one place, making it more accessible to join the regenerative movement.
Concretely, we are building a shared map of farms and communities that make up this movement, each with its own profile showing the organization they’re already part of. Alongside it, a directory that connects people eager to get involved with the farmers best suited for them.
-
Behind every regenerative farm and community is a story of trial, adaptation, and years of learning from the land. Documenting means capturing these stories through a documentary film series, giving these projects a visual voice.
Concretely, we are producing a documentary series that follows selected farms and communites acorss the map. Each episode is paired with their profil, giving each visitor not just a location, but a face and story to go with it.
-
Regenerative agriculture is built on knowledge that often exists only in practice, learned by doing. Education means gathering and sharing this knowledge, connecting traditional wisdom with modern research and context-specific application, making it easier for others to start their own journey in regenerative practices.
Concretely, we are turning the knowledge from the stories and practices captured through the map and documentary series into a growing library of practical knowledge.
-
Regeneration does not end at the farm gate. It lives wherever people come together around food, craft, fashion and art. Bridging means bringing regenerative practice into these spaces: opening the movement to people outside it and giving those inside it new places to meet.
Concretely, we are creating events at the intersection of regenerative agriculture and culture, from shared tables on farms to encounters between designers and growers and art made with the land.
Katharina Kühling“We are more connected than ever, yet finding a way into the regenerative movement can still feel like standing in front of a field full of scattered seeds.
So many incredible projects and organizations already exits, let’s join forces!”
